Cover image

This policy articulates national security interests and proposes a framework for addressing threats to Canadians. It addresses three core national security interests: protecting Canada and Canadians at home and abroad; ensuring Canada is not a base for threats to our allies; and contributing to international security. The policy contains measures to build a more integrated security system, as well as measures in six key areas: intelligence; emergency planning and management; public health emergencies; transportation security; border security; and international security.
