Parental attitudes toward unintentional childhood injuries / by SAGE Research Corporation. : H39-358/1996E-PDF

"Childhood injury prevention is one of the key action areas under the Child Development Initiative which was designed to address the conditions of risk faced by young children in Canada. This study is one of many projects supported under this Initiative. While we know that the prevention of injuries is a priority health issue, relatively little is known about parental knowledge and attitudes towards preventing injuries for their children. This project addresses this research gap and provides information that will be helpful in the development of effective injury prevention programs and policies" --Preface, p.3 of 67.
