Purple loosestrife .: CW66-538/1994E-PDF

Purple loosestrife came from Europe over a century ago. It invades wetlands and gradually takes them over, choking out all native vegetation. This brochure describes the plant, offers ways to remove or control it, suggests alternate plantings, and provides information on how to report it to the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
