This report presents statistics from Phase I of I-Track, an enhanced surveillance system to track risk behaviours associated with HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV) among injecting drug users (IDUs). It aims to describe changing patterns in drug injecting practices, HIV- and HCV-testing behaviours, and sexual behaviours among IDUs. Tables present data on recruitment, prevalence of HIV and HCV, drug use and other behaviours, and demographics of the study population.
