Tables for major centres provide detailed consumer price index data for each market area for current year as well as the previous three years for regional cities housing components and from the New House Price Indexes, data for land only, house only and total selling price. An annual table provides statistics on selected housing components for shelter (i.e. rented accommodation and owned accommodation, water, fuel and electricity and all items. There is also a table providing statistics on basic union wage rates indexes for selected residential construction trades (i.e. carpenter, crane operator, cement finisher, electrician, labourer, plumber etc.) for current year and previous three years.
