The objective of this research was to synthesis polyether/poly(methylmethacrylate)/lithium salt electrolytes as stable elastomeric thin films. Low molecular weight (350g/mol to 600g/mol) polyethers such as poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and random copolymers of ethylene oxide (EO)/propylene oxide (PO) blended with poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) or poly(acrylamide) (PMMA) and lithium trifluoromethane sulphonate or lithium triflate (LiCF3SO3) were studied.--Executive summary
