5203 |aThis report is one of a series studying the possibly adverse effects of pesticides on wildlife endocrine systems in Ontario. The Canadian Wildlife Service selected pesticides for study with an estimated use exceeding 10 000 kg in 1993. Profiles are given for each pesticide and pesticide family, and these profiles include active ingredients, use patterns, occurrence in the environment, toxicity, potential for endocrine disruption, evaluation of the risk for wildlife, and recommendations for research and monitoring. The report concludes that some Canadian Water Quality Guidelines need to be adjusted.
