A joint collaboration between the Maritimes and Laurentian regions, Science Branch of Fisheries and Oceans. The Marine Environmental Assessment of the Estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence is the first assessment on environmental conditions and human impacts in the Gulf and Estuary of the St. Lawrence completed under the Toxic Chemicals initiative of the Green Plan. The book concludes by identifying important issues related to human-induced changes on the marine environment with recommendations to further our understanding.
