The objectives were: a) to examine the region's current technology commercialization practices and processes, including strengths and weaknesses, and to identify areas for improvement; and b) to examine best practices in technology commercialization and lessons learned from other jurisdictions that could be applicable to Atlantic Canada, including university-business linkages, infrastructure requirements and gaps, key sectors of opportunity and research strengths.
