SEP production planning : a framework / Salmonid Enhancement Program. : Fs144-39/2012E-PDF

"The purpose of this document is to provide a framework for a regionally consistent approach to salmon production planning for the Salmonid Enhancement Program (SEP). Production planning in its simplest form is the business of deciding how many fish are to be produced from each enhancement facility. To that end, salmon from SEP facilities are produced to meet particular objectives; and the decisions that are required about those objectives and how they are to be met follow a defined process. This document will clarify the planning process and the framework within which the more complex aspects of how and why fish production decisions are made, and by whom."--Introd., p. 3.
