GEM 2 Hudson-Ungava Project : southern core zone surficial geology, geochemistry, and bedrock mapping activities in Northern Quebec and Labrador / [by] M.B. McClenaghan ... [et al.].: M183-2/7705E-PDF

The GSC in collaboration with the Ministère de l'Énergie et des Ressources Naturelles du Québec and the Newfoundland & Labrador Geological Survey are conducting new surficial mapping and surficial geochemical studies as part of an integrated regional mapping program in the Core Zone in northeast Quebec and west central Labrador between latitudes 54°N and 56°N, and longitudes 64°W and 66°W in NTS maps 23I and 23P. GEM-2 surficial activities being carried out in this region include surficial mapping, till geochemistry and mineralogy, and lake sediment geochemistry. They will result in new regional geoscience data and knowledge that will be used to promote natural resource exploration and responsible resource development.
