The objectives of cruise 2004-804 fall under CASES sub-projects 2.8, 2.7 and ArcticNet sub-project 1.6. Sub-project 2.8 entitled “Decadal-Millennial Variability in Sea Ice and Carbon Fluxes” aims at reconstructing the paleoceanography of the Canadian Arctic Shelf.
