“Pursuant to subsection 17(2) of the Pest Control Products Act, the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has initiated a special review of pest control products containing acephate based on the European Commission decision (2003) to prohibit the use in Europe due to human health and environmental concerns. The initiation of the special review was announced in December 2013 (Canada, 2013).”--Intro.
