Owston, of the Faculty of Education of the University of New Brunswick, entered into a six-month contract with the Evaluation Branch ,Corporate Policy Section of the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, Ottawa, to do a comprehensive evaluation of the federal school at Tobique, New Brunswick, and more broadly speaking, of the educational opportunities and services available to children residing on the Tobique Indian Reserve."--Introduction.
