"Resampling methods are often considered for variance estimation of complex statistics estimated from stratified multistage designs. Three techniques, the balanced repeated replication, the jackknife and the bootstrap are considered here for the Gini coefficient. Using income data from the Survey of Consumer Finances, the jackknife and bootstrap methods are implemented and compared"--Abstract.
