Briefly, the accelerated method consists of initial standard moist-curing of test specimens for 24 hr, followed by boiling for 3 1/2 hr, and testing in compression I hr later. The analyses of the test data indicate that the accelerated test method under discussion is an excellent means for rapid strength determination of concrete, and its use by the concrete industry is recommended"--p. 894.gccstConcreteZoldners, N.
