"Statistics Canada has developed a new measure of police-reported crime, the Police-Reported Crime Severity Index (PRCSI). The performance of the index is examined using real and simulated changes in crime volume and sentencing patterns. In conclusion, the index is compared to other current measures of crime"--Abstract.
