"This report presents the first large-scale revision of the Index of Farm Prices of Agricultural Products since it was first published in August 1946 on the time and weight base of 1935-39 = 100. The revisions which have just been completed include: a change to a weight base of 1960-62 = 100 and a time base of 1961 = 100; and, since 1957, an increase in the number of commodities included."--P.
