"Statistics Canada conducted its second consecutive Livestock Feed Usage Study from May through September 1991. The primary goal of this project, undertaken for Agriculture Canada on a cost recovery basis, was to develop provincial grain and oilseed intake per animal coefficients for 1990. The results would be used by the Committee of Experts on red meat stabilization to distribute the benefits of certain non-commodity specific programs among the various classes of livestock and poultry"--Executive summary.
