Tracer measurement of river evaporation : laboratory study / Y.L. Lau.: En36-502/73E-PDF

"Experiments were performed in a small wind tunnel in which the wind blew over a basin of water containing tritium. Evaporation rates for water vapour and tritium were measured. The results show that the wind function for water evaporation and that fortritium evaporation were affected to about the same degree by turbulence in the air"--Abstract.
