Special review decision : diphenylamine.: H113-5/2018-5E-PDF
"Pursuant to subsection 17(2) of the Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) initiated a special review of all registered pest control products containing diphenylamine, based on the 2012 European Commission regulatory decision to prohibit all uses of diphenylamine in European Union member countries due to human health concerns. Comments supporting the PMRA’s proposed special review decision and highlighting the value of diphenylamine were received during the consultation process. These comments did not result in changes to the proposed regulatory decision as described in REV2017-25. Therefore, the PMRA, under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, is confirming the current registration of pest control products containing diphenylamine in Canada"--P. 1.
