An analytical method that combines ion chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry was developed to measure glyphosate at trace concentrations (< 0.1 pg/L). Samples of shallow groundwater were collected from readily available rural monitoring sites in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
