Saving special spaces : protected areas and the Bay of Fundy / [written and designed by J.A. Percy].: En13-8/26-2005E-PDF

"Although there is an impressive network of protected areas around the Bay of Fundy, and several others planned or imminent, there has been little coordination as to the goals and effectiveness of the array as a whole. Over the years, departments, agencies and public and private groups have protected particular areas in their own way for their own specific purposes. However, they have normally done so independently. ... The new Oceans Act Action Plan released in June 2005 may give new impetus to creating this network in the Bay of Fundy and elsewhere."--p. 12.
