"A sequential estimator for suboptimal adaptive estimation of the unknown a priori state and observation noise statistics simultaneously with the system state, is applied to the estimation of the states of synchronous orbit satellite. Some tracking data supplied by the CRC have been used as real observations. Results of simulation are presented, using this approach with Altman's unified state model of the orbital trajectory and the corresponding observation model"--Abstract.
