Wild Animal and Plant Protection and Regulation of International and Interprovincial Trade Act, annual report : CW70-5
The act is designed to protect Canadian and foreign species of animals and plants that may be at risk of over exploitation because of unsustainable or illegal trade, and to safeguard Canadian ecosystems from the introduction of species designated as harmful. This report covers the administration of the act; regulation, compliance and enforcement; and international cooperation.
