National Trauma Registry - major injury in Canada, 2005 report (includes 2003/2004 data) : H115-4/2004E
The purpose of the 2005 National Trauma Registry Major Injury in Canada report is to provide a descriptive analysis of patients hospitalized with major trauma in participating facilities in Canada for the 2003-2004 fiscal year (April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004). The data source for this report is the National Trauma Registry Comprehensive Data Set (NTR CDS), which is managed by the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Data for the 2003-2004 NTR CDS were obtained from 41 facilities in eight provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador). It is estimated that over 90% of all major trauma cases are captured in the NTR CDS.
