2005 CIPARS report : HP2-4/2005E-MRC
This annual report presents the activities of CIPARS for the year, including data collection efforts and future plans. CIPARS is a national program for the collection, integration, analysis, and communication of trends in antimicrobial uses and the development of resistance in selected bacterial organisms from humans, animals, and animal-derived food sources. Its goal is to develop evidence-based policies to control antimicrobial use and prolong the effectiveness of these drugs, and to identify measures to contain the spread of resistant bacteria.
