This technical report uses data from the Cross-National Survey on Health Behaviours in School-Aged Children to examine the effects of school experience on the health and behaviour of Canadian youth. It explains the methodology used, then sets out and discusses results related to substance use, injury, leisure activities, nutrition, dental hygiene, self, interpersonal relationships, and health. A final section lists recommendations. Includes a list of references, 25 tables, and appendices describing the measures used.
