Conceptual, definitionnal [sic], and methodological changes in the Labour Force Survey = Différences entre les concepts, définitions et méthodes de l'enquête sur la population active. : CS71-601/5-1976-PDF
"The purpose of this paper is to briefly describe the conceptual, definitional and methodological changes introduced by the revision of the Labour Force Survey. The first section of the paper addresses itself to general survey that is, the population covered, how it is sampled, the questions asked of the sample population and how the replies are processed. The second section looks at the concepts or economic phenomena the L.F.S. attempts to measure. The third section describes the operational definitions used in the Labour Force Survey (L.F.S.) and Revised Labour Force Survey (R.L.F.S.) to define the concepts in terms of objectively measurable labour force activities." -- p. 1.
