"These proceedings summarize the relevant discussions and key conclusions that resulted from a Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Canadian Science Advisory Secretariat (CSAS) Regional Advisory Process on October 29, 2013 at the Pacific Biological Station in Nanaimo, B.C. One working paper focusing on the Information to support the identification of critical habitat for the Morrison Creek Lamprey (Lampetra richardsoni var marifuga) was presented for peer review. In-person participation included DFO staff from Science branch and SARA. Representatives from the province of BC and NGO’s also participated. The conclusions and advice resulting from this review will be provided in the form of a Science Advisory Report providing advice to the species at risk program to inform listing decisions under the Species at Risk Act (SARA) and subsequent recovery planning activities"--Summary.
