520 |a"The Viewfield Bakken play has been described as an unconventional play due to its low permeability. The reservoir evaluation has been always challenging. In this study, based on integration of laboratory measurements on cores data, NMR porosity and permeability and conventional well logs, we developed porosity and permeability models, including bulk volume models and core-based density model for porosity determination, core-based permeability and NMR permeability models for permeability estimation. This study also presented a detailed review of reservoir quality from proposed models and distributions through well to well correlations along six cross-sections in the Unit A of the middle Bakken member in the Viewfield pool”--Summary provided by publisher.
