"This present paper intends to investigate the relative merits of the two seasonal adjustment approaches (concurrent and forecasting) applied to a set of international trade series which are subject to revisions of varying degree. The aim of this analysis is to help decide if the concurrent method is still superior in the presence of revisions and if not under what conditions should one method be preferable to the other"--Introduction, p. 1.
