The intent and result of this survey is to consolidate descriptions of various practical ways of ventilating houses. The survey particularly recognizes the contents of CSA F 326, as Residential Mechanical Ventilation Requirements, and thus serves an introduction to ways in which these "Requirements" may be realized. The report places the need for mechanical ventilation into an historical context; discusses code requirements and the physical and physiological constraints which govern.
