"This document provides guidance to departments on managing their services and implementing the Treasury Board Policy on Service. Program and service managers and executives who are responsible for implementing the Policy on Service and/or managing Government of Canada services are the intended audience for the guideline. The Policy on Service was introduced in 2014 to establish a strategic and coherent approach to the design and delivery of Government of Canada external and internal enterprise services that is client-centric, realizes operational efficiencies and promotes a culture of service management excellence"--P.
