"This supplement to the Canadian International Trade Classification (CITC) commodity index is one of a number prepared as an aid to those who import significant amounts of the goods which it covers. The complete CITC commodity index remains the master index, in that it seeks to cover all goods which constitute the foreign trade of Canada. As such it will remain the primary reference manual for traders who handle many kinds of goods. For more specialised importers, however, and for customs brokers who have clients who import the kinds of goods covered by the supplements, it is hoped that the information contained herein will simplify the task of preparing entry documents."--Introduction.
