Key research activities include assessment of aquatic ecosystem health, lake ecosystem function and recovery, modeling and decision support, impacts of urban point and non-point sources of pollution on receiving environments, control of urban pollution and, development of remediation approaches for contaminated groundwater and sediments. This work is conducted within four interdisciplinary projects; Urban Water Management Research, Lake Management Research, Integrated Watershed Modelling and Management and Aquatic Ecosystem Remediation. This report provides a synopsis of the extensive and diverse research work by our scientists for the fiscal year 2002/2003"--Abstract.
