Published monthly in larger urban centres and quarterly in smaller local markets (including a semi-annual Forecast Summary report). Quarterly regional and provincial reports and monthly national reports are also available. Housing Market Outlook is a semi-annual report analysing and forecasting resale and new housing market trends in selected urban centres across Canada. Includes local resale activity, average prices, ratios comparing sale prices with list prices, factors affecting the local economy, and forecasts for housing starts and new home prices, sales levels and mortgage rates. Housing Facts offers a concise monthly look at the latest housing starts figures in Canada, plus thorough analyses covering a wide range of current Canadian housing market topics. Mortgage Market Trends provides timely information quarterly for lending institutions and the housing industry on provincial and national developments in the primary and secondary mortgage markets. Issues include coverage on mortgage rate forecasts, mortgage-backed securities activity, mortgage lending forecasts, mortgage approvals and bond rates. CMHC Housing Outlook - National Edition assesses Canada's housing markets quarterly, with two-year national, provincial and local forecasts of housing starts, resales and house prices, and the outlook for key economic indicators. It also features summaries, data tables, and graphs, plus special reports, including the yearly Renovation Market Outlook. Monthly Housing provides timely updates to the printed Canadian Housing Statistics with figures on housing starts, completions and expenditures as soon as they are released. Tables contain year-to-date and year-over-year data. Housing Information Monthly contains information obtained in the three major national surveys conducted by CMHC: Starts and Completions, Market Absorption, and Rental Market. Thirteen homogeneous modules contain more than 90 data-rich statistical tables on starts, completions, sales and prices in provincial markets and more than 100 local markets. Rental Market Fastfax, a companion piece to the Rental Market Survey Report for approximately 80 centres across Canada, offers summaries of survey results on the day they are released. Rental Market Reports present the latest trends in vacancy rates, average rents and the rate of change at the sub-market level for buildings with three units or more across Canada. This annual report analyzes the supply of housing and reports on housing starts and completions by tenure in approximately 30 major urban centres. Consumer Intentions to Buy or Renovate a Home is a survey of approximately 4,000 households per city, asking respondents about their plans for purchasing or renovating a home. The information is gathered on the type, size and price range of homes and is then classified by demographics, income, family size, tenure and locations within six cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax and Ottawa. Current Housing Research is a directory to CMHC's ongoing housing research. In addition to describing research currently underway, it provides announcements concerning newly completed research reports and research highlights. By monitoring this publication, you can keep up to date with housing research issued by CMHC and be informed about what projects the Corporation is currently funding. Residential Construction Digest (Prairie Region) is a report designed for industry professionals involved in the development of new subdivisions. It provides detailed monthly new construction statistics at a submarket level, for absorbed and unabsorbed single family homes by price range and house type. Other new construction data, including average and median new home prices, and multi-family units by tenure and unite type is also included.
