Abstract
The report Organized crime activity in Canada: a pilot survey of
16 police services is a study of the feasibility of collecting
quantitative information on organized criminal activity in
Canada. Sixteen major police services from across the country were
asked to provide quantitative information about organized
crime groups operating in their jurisdiction. This included
information
about the size and composition of each of these
organizations, the links between various criminal organizations,
and compares
information about the types of illegal activities engaged in
by each organization.
