Abstract
This report presents details on the data sources and methods underlying the greenhouse gas emissions indicator as it was reported in the Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators 2005 (16-251-XWE). The greenhouse gas indicator describes the trend in emissions and the contribution to the trend by energy production, energy consumption and other factors.
