Adulteration of natural health products: H13-7/93-2011E-PDF
Many natural health products (NHPs) have a history of safe use. But some products marketed or represented as NHPs have been adulterated. Products that are adulterated contain substances that are not declared on the label, including prescription medications or other potentially dangerous ingredients. If you use one of these products, you will be exposed to the added drugs or substances without your knowledge, which may present serious risks to your health.
