From November 20 to 26, 2010, the House of Commons Standing Committee on International Trade (hereafter the Committee) conducted a fact-finding mission in Europe. The mission had two main objectives: to give the members of the Committee a fuller understanding of the benefits and challenges associated with the current negotiations on a comprehensive economic and trade agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union (EU), and to highlight Canada’s priorities for the negotiations.
