West coast of Newfoundland capelin (Mallotus villosus M.) and Atlantic herring (Clupea harengus harengus L.) larval survey, part 7 : description of the data collected in partnership with the industry (Barry...: Fs97-13/1235E-PDF

In partnership with the Barry Group, a larval survey was conducted on the west coast of Newfoundland from 16 to 18 July 2008 to measure the abundance of fish eggs and larvae sampled with plankton nets. A second objective was to describe the spatial distribution of fish larvae including those from two significant commercial species, capelin and Atlantic herring.
