Takes account of issues such as declining commercial fishing stocks, Aboriginal fishing rights, traditional techniques, new significance of aquaculture industry, effects of ecology on fishing, especially global warming, changing economic interest in some species, and limited research on newly economic species, as well as other difficulties in research. Drawings are included to illustrate the various species.
