Rural youth in action : lessons in community leadership : A114-5/2004E-PDF1

In 2003, 60 young Canadians (aged 18 to 29) from rural, remote, and northern communities attended the National Rural Youth Conference, each with a proposal for a project that would benefit his or her community. In this report, the conference attendees share their reflections on carrying out these community projects. There are tips on mentorship, funding, and promotion, as well as detailed descriptions of two projects and interviews with the proponents.
