Petrography and chemistry of pyrite from the McArthur River uranium deposit, Saskatchewan / [by] Justin Emberley, Keiko Hattori, and Erin Adlakha. : M183-2/7626E-PDF

The Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI-4) is a collaborative federal geoscience program that provides industry with the next generation of geoscience knowledge and innovative techniques to better detect buried mineral deposits, thereby reducing some of the risks of exploration. This poster presentation documents the sulphur isotopic composition of pyrite (iron sulphide) from the McArthur River uranium deposit. The results indicate fluids responsible for creation of the deposit leached sulphur from several sources, in support of the current genetic model.
