“This report provides updated long-term economic and fiscal projections to 2055–56, using the medium-term forecast presented in the 2018 Fall Economic Statement as the starting point. Updated long-term projections continue to indicate that the federal public finances are sustainable over the longer term, with the federal debt-to-GDP (gross domestic product) ratio projected to be on a downward track over the entire projection horizon"--Introd., p. 1.
