"All varieties of pigs, whether kept as pets, companion animals or farm animals, are susceptible to the same serious diseases. Because of the severity of both the risk and the effects of these diseases, all pigs, regardless of type or where they live, must meet the CFIA’s import conditions for breeding pigs, including testing and quarantine when returning to Canada after travelling"--Page [1].
