"To support greater insights into the sport, physical activity, and recreational experiences of persons with disabilities, a series of focus groups were conducted among parents/caregivers of children and youth with and without disabilities. Online surveys were also conducted with sport and disability supporting organizations. This research is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of the sport and physical activity experiences of children and youth with disabilities across Canada, with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)"--Introduction, page 5.
