"This article first compares trends in annual permanent migration flows between Canada and the United States since the 1990s. This comparison provides important context for understanding the net exchange of permanent migrants (foreign-born nationals who have been granted the right to live and work in the receiving country permanently). Permanent migration flows are measured by country of birth and by country of last residence"--Page 1.
