Cover image

Legends of the Haida, a proud nation thriving off the North West coast of British Columbia on Haida Gwaii, These stories feature the islands' exotic creatures to teach important lessons and values. All are mixed with the actual sounds-birds, frogs, waves, wind, and rain-found on Haida Gwaii as well as traditional Haida songs and instruments. The project was coordinated with the few remaining fluent speakers who have created a language nest to rejuvenate the endangered language for future generations.
